About INCUBASEA place to start. A reason to build.

Big possibilities.
Grounded beginnings.

Incubase is a digital venture incubation ecosystem where student ideas are explored, tested, and transformed into practical digital solutions.

OUR POINT OF VIEW

Progress starts with
a useful question.

THE ECOSYSTEM

A bigger home
for ideas in progress.

A brand built to grow with the people and ideas around it.

INCUBASE is the umbrella identity for a digital venture incubation ecosystem associated with the TISSA × NOVAC Digital Venture Incubator at Universiti Utara Malaysia.

The TISSA × NOVAC Digital Venture Incubator is organised by AISRED in collaboration with NOVAC, within the TISSA academic ecosystem at Universiti Utara Malaysia. AISRED is a Centre of Excellence within TISSA; NOVAC is the Northern Varsity Accounting Club. INCUBASE gives the ventures and their incubation journey a shared, independent visual identity.

The current programme supports 13 student venture teams. The wider ambition is to make room for future cohorts, new ventures, industry collaboration, and continued learning.

Each participating venture has its own problem to explore. INCUBASE gives that work a shared setting and a public place to be understood.

HOW WE APPROACH THE WORK

Curiosity, with
a practical purpose.

Start in the real world. Stay open to evidence. Build something you can test.

  1. 01

    People before assumptions.

Understand a problem in the context of the people who experience it.

  2. 02

    Learning through making.

Turn research into a working prototype, then use testing to improve it.

  3. 03

    Progress with perspective.

Document what has been learned and distinguish goals from demonstrated outcomes.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE IDEAS

No idea grows
in isolation.

Student venture teams are at the centre of INCUBASE.

The ecosystem brings together student teams, academic guidance, and relevant industry or institutional support. Different perspectives help teams look more closely at a problem and think more carefully about a solution.

Meet the venture ideas today. Team introductions and approved profiles will be added as public information becomes available.
